Ingredients for Bhature Recipe
Maida (All Purpose Flour) -500gm
Sooji (semolina) – 100gm
Refined Oil- to fry Bhatura
Sugar- 1 Tea spoon
Baking soda- 1 Tea spoon
Salt- 1 Tea spoon
Dahi (Curd) – 1 bowl(150ml)
1: Mix sugar in water and keep it aside.
2: In a mixing bowl, mix together maida, sooji (rava), baking soda, curd, 1 tspn oil and required salt.
3: Now add little water(sugar water) at a time and knead soft smooth dough.
4: Cover the dough with a dry clean clothe and leave it for 2-3 hrs.
5: After 3 hours, grease your hand with oil and knead the dough once again.
6: Devide the dough into 12 -15 parts depending what size of bhatura you want to make and roll them to ball.
7: At the same time, heat oil in a curved pan or kadai.
8: Now take one ball and dip in the dry maida flour and roll and shape it like chappathi.
9: Once oil is hot, take the rolled bhatura and fry it like puri.
10: Serve it with hot chole or channa curry
